Fee Schedule for Puddle Dock School

 

  • Renters must be 18 years of age or older.

  • The residency of the Renter, not that of the renter's guests, determines the fee schedule.

  • Children are welcome at events but should be well supervised.  There are historical artifacts in the building that need to be respected & protected.

 

Fee schedule for social or educational uses:

          $5.00 ($25.00 for non-residents) for groups of 10 or fewer

          $10.00 ($40.00 for non-residents) for groups of more than 10 (up to a maximum of 50)

          $10.00 fuel fee during the heating months only

 

This fee assumes that the planned activity involves only participants seated or standing around talking and/or eating. There is a $10 surcharge if the planned activity involves physical activity (dancing, exercise, party games, etc.).

 

Fee schedule for business or political uses:

          $10.00 ($25.00 for non-residents) for groups of 10 or fewer

          $10.00 ($40.00 for non-residents) for groups of more than 10 (maximum of 50)

No extra fee if the planned activity involves only seated participants or people standing around        talking and/or eating.

$10 surcharge if the planned activity involves physical activity (dancing, exercise, party games         etc.) by the participants.

1.  Scheduling, contracts, payments and keys will be managed by the Town Clerk.  In certain, prearranged circumstances, the Rec Committee representative will act as surrogate for the Caretaker.

2.  Checks should be made out to the Town of Alna with "Puddle Dock School" in the memo line.

3.  The person who signed the contract (the Responsible Party) must be present when his/her group is using the building.  The Responsible Party is responsible for enforcing all rules.

4. Insurance coverage is required. The Town Clerk has information on TULIP if renter does not carry their own insurance.
